Maria Luisa Fontana lives in Veneto, Italy. Throughout her artistic experience she has been experimenting with different materials, including recovered waste products. Her fascination with glass led her to search out master glassmakers in the Vicenza area, collecting discarded pieces of art and uniting them with paintings which return to life. The painting appears as the base, the glass creates depth, dimension, and light, while the resin provides transparency and protection.
