Stefania Nesi was born in Vinci, Italy, in 1976. Since her early years she has always felt a strong pictorial vocation that she nurtured without following the established training paths. Her artistic vision was marked by the color theories of JW Goethe and Rudolf Steiner, the father of anthroposophy, that is the philosophy inspired by a spiritual vision of the art, in which we find a very close link between man and color. She afterwards continued her artistic journey in a more traditional manner, with real-life sketches.
With a peculiar sensitivity of her own, the artist finds in the color the very reason of her painting. She believes that there is a very close link between the spiritual dimension and the artwork, where the color becomes the tool for a deeper introspection, linked to one’s own intimate needs.
